Help for British Nationals
Consular Section is there to assist British Nationals by offering a wide variety of services. We offer documentary services such as obtaining a new British passport, and emergency assistance and protection services for British Nationals, including contacting you if you are in hospital and helping you to transfer funds from friends and family if necessary. We ask all British Nationals to register with us via the registration database Locate.

All applications for passport services (except emergency passports), birth and death registration are forwarded to Hanoi for processing.
Opening hours
Consular section in Hanoi is open to the public from Monday to Friday (except Embassy holidays) between 08:30-11:30 and 14:00-16:00.
Consular Section in Ho Chi Minh City is open to the public from Monday to Friday between 08:30-11:30 and between 13:00-15:00.
