Our Ambassador
His Role
In each country, the Ambassador or High Commissioner (in Commonwealth countries) is the United Kingdom's official representative, and provides the channel of communication between the two Governments. In Vietnam, this means that not only does the Ambassador represent the Embassy and Consulate-General, but he also acts on behalf of other parts of the UK presence in Vietnam, including the Department for International Development and the British Council Vietnam.
