Getting to the embassy:

Our office is located on the 4th floor of Central Building at 31 Hai Ba Trung Street, 1km away from  Hoan Kiem Lake.

By Taxi
Hanoi has thousands of taxis, and finding one at any time is never a problem. Take a taxi and ask to be dropped off at  'The British Embassy, 31 Hai Ba Trung Street'.

Here are the two taxis the British Embassy Hanoi often uses:

1. Taxi Dau khi: 37.28.28.28
2. Taxi CP: 38.26.26.26

By Bus
Bus number 36, 38, 40, 45, and 09  stops right outside our main gate on Hai Ba Trung Street.

Parking

We are sorry that there is no public parking space here. The nearest available parking is in Quang Trung Street.

Security

Due to the global threat currently posed by terrorism, and the targeting of embassies, we do our utmost to ensure a safe and secure environment for your visit.  

Please co-operate with the security team as they conduct their checks and controls, each of which should take only a few minutes.  The security measures in place are for the benefit of all visitors and staff.

Visitors to our office will have to go through the security checkpoint at the entrance. Mobile phones and electronic devices are not allowed into the building.
